ALMOST BAREFOOT
Want to achieve the barefoot look, but worried about stepping on something sharp or getting your feet too dirty (though you're missing out the fun of feeling the ground), then you could have a go at Nude Sandals. A new invention, they're a kind of strapless flip flop that sticks to your feet - so really they don't flip or flop. They look like this....
